About us

Redefining Solar Energy stands as a trailblazer in the solar technology sector. We are the exclusive patent holders of a novel 3-dimensional solar pipe technology, which significantly alters the paradigm of solar energy conversion. Our proprietary technology increases electricity generation threefold per square meter through internal reflection and absorption of photons. The design allows for a greater conversion rate of light into electrons, thereby generating more electricity. Each instance of internal reflection bolsters the photon/electron interaction, thus optimising energy production. The superiority of our product lies not only in its remarkable efficiency but also in its ability to reduce the cost of solar electricity generation in comparison to conventional systems.

DeRedefining Solar: 3D solar pipe patent holders, 3x generation/m². Top efficiency & cost-effective power production
TIPA Solar-Powered Home Energy: Less grid reliance, 1/3 space of typical panels.

Say goodbye to the old-fashioned flat panel design used for decades. Our cutting-edge TIPA technology has revolutionized the industry.

TIPA

• Energy desity of 30wp/kg.

• 3.4 times lesser area at just 1.34m2.

• Vertically oriented photo voltaic cells allows more cells to be packed in a smaller foot print.

• Not effected by the shockley - queisser limit due internal reflections.

• Higher return on investment compared to flat panel design.

TIPA Solar: 30wp/kg density, 1.34m2 space, vertical cells for compactness. Bypasses Shockley-Queisser for higher ROI.

Conventional Flat Panel

• Energy density of 19wp/kg.

• 4-5m2 area required per kWp.

• Photovolatic cells oriented in same plane as the ground.

• Efficiency limited by the 'Shockley - Queisser limit'.

• Return on investment is lower.

Solar Tech: 19wp/kg energy density, 4-5m2/kWp, ground-level photovoltaics. Limited by Shockley-Queisser, lesser ROI

How it works?

Photons react with silicon cells on a quantum level as both photons and electrons are quantum particles and as such exist in statistical probability fields. In other words, there is a statistical chance a photon of a particular level will interact with an electron on the silicon solar cell.

In a flat panel, the photon has to hit the panel at the right angle and not be reflected by the glass covering the panel and then has to interact with the silicon. Reflection is not a desirable thing. You will note, the photon only has one chance. It either moves through the glass and into the silicon and is able to interact with an electron.

Why so special?

With TIPA, we bend the light into the pipe using refracting lenses. This means we do not need to place the TIPA Pipe at a special angle. The light is bent into the TIPA pipe and if the photon interacts with the electron on the first time of asking, great! If not, it will reflect internally and bounce onto another surface and more silicon where it will get another chance to interact and release a photon. The more reflections and bounces, the greater the amount of electrons released and power generated. Simple but effective and did we mention globally unique.
